Course Description This class is designed for Insurance Professionals whose responsibility is assigning experts to fire and explosion claims. We will discuss the importance of selecting the appropriate expert who can render an opinion concerning the origin & cause of fires and explosions, questions to ask when vetting an expert, expert qualifications/certifications and documentation.

  • Anthony Morrone

    Anthony Morrone is a shareholder at the law firm of Cozen O’Connor where he practices in the firm’s subrogation department. Tony has successfully tried or arbitrated more than two dozen cases and has mediated many others in the course of his career. A member of the Federal Trial Bar and frequent lecturer, Tony has handled the investigation and litigation of hundreds of fires claims during his years as an attorney.

  • Chris Konzelmann

    Chris is a Partner with the law firm of White & Williams, LLP and Co-Chairman of the IAAI Insurance Advisory Committee.

  • Mike Presson

    Michael Presson, IAAI-CFI has conducted Origin & Cause investigations into fires and explosions in both the Public and Private Sectors for over 20 years. His private sector work has included working for a Private Fire Investigation Firm in the Midwest, working for Product Manufacturers, and working at a Major Insurance Company in the Origin & Cause capacity. Mike has been qualified as an Expert Witness in both State and Federal Courts.ng his years as an attorney.
